Individualized TA/Training

Customized Technical Assistance (TA)

Technical assistance is tailored to meet the individual needs of grantees. Our consultants can either work through a series of consultation calls or meet on-site with local SDFSC project staff to work on specific areas as requested by the grantee. Examples of consultation topics provided to grantees include:

  • strategic planning
  • logic model development
  • evidence-based drug and violence prevention strategies
  • local evaluation strategies

Technical assistance services are provided at no-cost to grantees.

Technical Assistance (TA) Request Process

Grantees can apply for technical assistance by submitting a TA Request Form on-line or via fax. Additionally, grantees can contact a CARS representative or their ADP County Analyst to discuss and request consultation services.

Once a TA Request is submitted a CARS representative will contact you to further discuss your needs and the scope of the request. The TA Request will be submitted to ADP for approval. Once approved, a SDFSC consultant with relevant expertise will be identified and the TA assignment can be scheduled and confirmed. Grantees who are familiar with our consultants are encouraged to pre-identify a consultant they would like to work with.
