The SDFSC TA Project is on the lookout for prevention experts to work as consultants.

SDFSC aims at reducing alcohol, drug, and tobacco use, and youth violence through education and prevention in California. CARS consultants have typically had extensive involvement in this arena. They work for the program's best interest and are in communication with CARS in serving the program's needs. Consultants train grantees in a number of topics, such as logic models, CSAP Model Programs, science-based curricula, environmental prevention, strategic planning, risk and protective factor-related strategies, program evaluation, development of culturally competent prevention programs, and more. CARS consultants also provide customized TA and training based on specific needs.
